Mommies unite for an afternoon to support and promote breastfeeding

Breastfeeding may be considered a challenging phase of motherhood but the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of breastfeeding for mothers and babies truly make the journey worthwhile. While more and more mothers recognize that breastmilk will always be superior compared to formula milk, there is still a need to spread awareness on its benefits and to encourage people to support breastfeeding.

in response to the global campaign of protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding, World Vision Development Foundation, in partnership with the Department of Health, launched Mother-Baby Friendly Philippines. This two-year project aims to:

1. Support and strengthen the implementation of Executive Order 51 (The Philippine Milk Code of 1986), Republic Act 7600 (The Rooming-ln and Breastfeeding Act of 1992), and Republic Act 10028 (The Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009)

According to google, Stress is your body's way of responding to any kind of demand or threat. When you sense danger—whether it's real or imagined—the body's defenses kick into high gear in a rapid, automatic process known as the “fight-or-flight” reaction or the "stress response." During my 1st few months of pregnancy I've experienced high levels of stress and the only thing I cut off my usual routine is pampering myself.

Pampering myself is a reward I can't seem to resist whenever I've had a long week or I am stressed from work. It has been my guilty pleasure and even when I got pregnant, the more I so often feel the need for pampering. Massage, facials, nailcare, scrubs are but some of the pampering I indulge myself into(besides food offcourse) during the weekend. The only problem I have is it takes so much of my time as I have to travel from one place to the other just to get that all-in pampering package. Good thing I got to visit NAILANDIA ROCKWE…
