PANAY KAIN TULOG ATBP COMPLEX: A FOODIES PARADISE || PINAYAVENTURES FOODTRIP


What do you dream of doing on a weekend after a stressful week at work?

KAIN? (eat?)
TULOG? (sleep?)
Why not both?

What if I told you can do all this in one location? Yes! I found the perfect foodie paradise to spend the weekend in QUEZON CITY.

The name itself says it all. I was looking for the place BGC HOSTEL Q.C in google and ended up seeing results saying PANAY KAIN TULOG , they are the same location I am going to spend a stress free weekend at. BGC HOSTEL in QC is famously known as PANAY KAIN TULOG because 1st they are located in 23 PANAY AVE. Quezon City and simply because that is what you will basically do in the area. 

After my visit at BGC HOSTEL MAKATI sometime in February. 


I was surprised to know that it also has 2 other branches in Quezon City and Manila. So i decided to have the staycation in either branch on my birthday as we will be roaming around the metro to feed street children and so after doing so a staycation is the way to go!

Information and contacts

During my stay at their Makati branch, we availed the shared room which is 499 per person per night. I was with my daughter who is 7 and she did not have to pay extra for so as long as she shares the bed with me. The shared room has double decks with curtains for privacy. This is perfect for when you are a solo backpacker and you are on a budget.

This was what we availed during our stay at their Q.C Branch this April as it was a family staycation(me,my hubby and daughter) so we can enjoy and also stroll around QC.


One thing that I love most about the BGC HOSTEL is that all of their branches has great instagrammable interiors.


 The reception area in the QC Branch exudes of class and chill vibe at the same time.

 They also have function rooms for the 3 restaurants downstairs. You can book your events and enjoy a private Lunch or Dinner.

We definitely had a great and relaxing stay and true to their name all we did after a tiring day searching and feeding street children is literally what your typical Filipino mom would rant about on a weekend "PANAY KA KAIN AT TULOG" (all you do is eat and sleep).

We also enjoyed our Lunch at KOMEDOR FILIPINO RESTAURANT(review on a separate post) upon Check in. Since the check in time is 2pm we had lunch downstairs and enjoyed Filipino food.




It was a happy birthday indeed! After our lunch we went back to our room to have "siesta"(afternoon nap) as we will head to SM NORTH for dinner and a little stroll.

After dinner we did not have to worry about traffic or long travel back to Makati as the PANAY KAIN TULOG ATBP COMPLEX is just 10-15 minutes away from SM NORTH(depending on traffic).

We had a great sleep, the bed was comfortable and the aircondition just right to cater to our tired bodies. In the morning we went around the area to feed street children again and straight to LA MESA ECOPARK.

After swimming, walking ,biking and breakfast at the park we went back to BGC HOSTEL to check out. We had Lunch in one of the restaurants downstairs this time the ARTSY CAFE.

If you are also dreaming of eating and sleeping the PANAY KAIN TULOG ATBP is a must visit. After eating lunch you can already check in at BGC HOSTEL QC. Super affordable but you will get the same experience as a hotel for less.

I did not know that Tilapia can be cooked in so many ways till I went to Laurel Batangas. Laurel, officially the Municipality of Laurel, is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 39,444 people. Laurel had been part of Talisay, its current neighbor town. The town used to be known as Bayuyungan. I was invited to witness their very popular Tilapia Festival by having a lot of activities.
