DINNER IN THE DARK & ZOOBIC NIGHT SAFARI || A humbling & exciting experience

Saturdays are usually days I spend with my daughter. We would usually do something exciting or just chill and have a girls day out. This particular Saturday was something special as we would be experiencing something that ZOOBIC SAFARI just recently launched , the NIGHT SAFARI plus we also will be attending their DINNER IN THE DARK supporting our blind brothers and sisters in the Philippines.

The travel was long and warm but the experience is definitely worth the travel. If you are a nature lover the sceneries that you will pass by going to your destination would get you to take those pictures and make you want to do a stopover.

Upon reaching SUBIC SAFARI you will be travelling down memory lane of those field trips you had as a kid and I was excited because I got to bring my kid with me on this journey.

As parents nowadays we need to promote activities that will bring value to our childrens lives. Going to zoo's is one of the many ways on how we can show them the value of animals, nature and educating them while stil injecting fun.

Kids will get to see animals that they only see in televisions , computers or tablets and even identify their names.

Among the animals we saw and the different stopovers we had, the Close encounter with the lion has got to be me and my daughter's favorite. It was scary but also eye opening as most of the times it is the animals who is locked up inside a cage. But this time its the other way around.

The Zoomanity Group has leveled up this experience by offering this tour at night. For as low as 895 pesos per person(dinner included) you get to see these animals between 5pm-10 pm. Last admission of guests for the night safari is at 8pm.

This day was not only entertaining but humbling as well. After our tour we got to dine in the dark. The proceeds of this event went to our blind brothers and sisters. It's Zoomanity Group's way of letting us experience eating in the dark or being blind for a bit. It made me realize how lucky I am to be able to see as it was indeed difficult to dine in the dark. Our blind brothers and sisters were the one's assisting us during this dinner.

Another favorite of mine during this adventure was the show after dinner as it is amazing to know that the performers were zoo staff from different departments.

Overall, the adventure was tiring but really educational and inspiring that I was ready to hit the bed. Too bad we had to travel back to Manila after the event. But soon they will he offering something that would make you stay a little bit longer at Zoobic Safari. GLAMPZ soon to open and have you experience a glamorous night in the wild.
