BGC HOSTEL MANILA || PINAYAVENTURES

Last July 22, 2017 me, my cousins and some of my batchmates decided to meet up in Manila. I have recently discovered a restaurant that offers food that are famous in our homeland ZAMBOANGA CITY. More info on this restaurant on my blogpost.

After fetching my daughter from my husband's cousin as he had a flight that day to Zamboanga, we went home, got a couple of things and booked a transport service going to Manila. We knew that traffic may not allow us to go to and from Manila fast and so we decided to stay at an affordable place nearby and not worry about going home late and also rain as it was a very rainy evening. Upon reaching the restaurant we dined and had a great time feeling as if we were in Zamboanga once again. We were later joined by my batchmates/friends from high school and after which as it was already late we booked a transport service again to get to BGC HOSTEL MANILA.

Location: 870 Vicente Cruz, Sampaloc Manila
Right above 360 Salon and across Mang Inasal.

You may send them a message on their Facebook page.

Their rates goes as low as 499 pesos/person/night for shared room which is perfect for those backpackers or solo travellers who would just need a place to sleep. They provide lockers so your personal belongings are safe and you still get privacy as there are compartments or linens covering each cubicle.

Should you decide to stay longer, they have a discounted rate of 3500pesos for a month for their dorm.

This hostel is most famous to those applying abroad(seaman, nurses, domestic helpers etc) as this is conveniently located in Manila where most of these agencies are also located.

Their sailor theme in this hostel gives a refreshing vibe to those staying and the rooms are clean and well maintained.

They also have private rooms called Zen Rooms good gor 2,3 or 4 persons for as low as 1500pesos. Their check-in time is 2pm and check-out at 12pm.

They also have wifi and internet cafe area.

Overall, our experience was great and enjoyable as we did not have to travel back home and be stuck in traffic as surge with transport services were crazy as it was raining.  We got to relax and even explore Manila.

 For those who would be visiting Manila or needs a place to stay. I would recommend that you try BGC HOSTEL. They also have branches in QUEZON CITY and MAKATI

Travelling needs not be expensive. You can always live life for less.
